Model ABD-FD combines automatic airflow balancing with UL 555–rated static fire protection in a single, factory-assembled unit. Available with 1½- or 3-hour fire-resistance ratings, the complete assembly is UL Classified and includes the ABD, flanged sleeve, curtain-style fire damper (FD-150 or FD-350), and optional grille. The factory-calibrated automatic balancing damper maintains constant airflow by modulating in response to changing system pressures—eliminating the need for external power or controls. Designed for vertical installation, the ABD-FD is suitable for both supply and exhaust applications, simplifying specification, installation, and code compliance while ensuring reliable life safety and airflow performance.
