Model CRD-2 is a UL 555C Classified ceiling radiation damper designed to limit radiant heat transfer through openings in the ceiling membrane of fire-resistance-rated floor/ceiling assemblies up to three hours. It helps maintain the integrity of the rated assembly while supporting code-compliant protection at ceiling membrane penetrations.
