In most applications, plug fans operate without a housing, utilizing the surrounding plenum space to direct airflow from the backward-inclined centrifugal wheel as required by the system design. Model PLG is available in both belt-driven and direct-drive configurations and can be constructed of steel, aluminum, or 316 stainless steel to accommodate a wide range of environmental and corrosion-resistance requirements.
